Melanie and Michael Völker have been there since the beginning - they were at every Weinsalon Natürel and are now role models for young people starting out with natural wine. Their father Völker's winery in the background helped in the early days. Producing wine without sulphur is not a matter of course, and it also had to be economical. So in the early years, juices that weren't quite right were pushed over to the father instead of being sulphurized. I have been following this approach very consistently across the board for more than 10 years and now I finally have the wines in my range. Trust and getting to know each other sometimes takes time, and what are 10 years when a stable basis can last for many more years? Thanks to you!
